Stichting ROEM creëert een stabiel platform waar jonge creatieven binnen een collectief werken aan een toekomst als professioneel maker.
We bieden de mogelijkheid om zelf projecten op te zetten, opdrachten aan te gaan en mee te doen aan gezamenlijke exposities. Er is ruimte om te experimenteren, te falen en bovenal om van elkaar en externen te leren. Samen werken we aan het onderstrepen van het belang van kunst in onze samenleving.

ROEM is een collectief van jonge makers die samen in Leiden willen werken aan hun toekomst als professioneel maker. Het hoofddoel van Stichting ROEM is het onderstrepen van het belang van kunst in onze samenleving.
We doen dit door middel van verscheidene projecten en activiteiten zoals het organiseren van exposities en workshops. Als collectief dagen we elkaar uit en stimuleren we elkaar om onszelf verder te ontwikkelen en te groeien in ons kunstenaarschap; zowel als in
ons ondernemerschap en organisatorische vaardigheden.
Al onze projecten zijn in stand gekomen als opdracht zowel op eigen intitiatief.
We doen dit door middel van verscheidene projecten en activiteiten zoals het organiseren van exposities en workshops. Als collectief dagen we elkaar uit en stimuleren we elkaar om onszelf verder te ontwikkelen en te groeien in ons kunstenaarschap; zowel als in

ROEM is a collective of young creators who want to work together in Leiden on their future as professional creators. The main goal of the ROEM Foundation is to emphasize the importance of art in our society.
We do this through various projects and activities such as organizing exhibitions and workshops. As a collective, we challenge and encourage each other to develop and grow in our artistry, entrepreneurship and organizational skills.
All our projects have come about as a commission as well as on our own initiative.

Stichting ROEM heeft de ambitie om zich in de aankomende jaren te blijven ontwikkelen tot een succesvolle stichting voor jonge makers in Leiden. Wij merkten echter dat, na het worden van een stichting, dit niet zonder slag of stoot gaat.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat Stichting ROEM op professionele wijze aan deze groei kan blijven werken, heeft VDH Bestuurszaken afgelopen december aangeboden om ROEM de aankomende tijd te ondersteunen tijdens dit proces. Het bestuur zorgt dat de missie en de visie van Stichting ROEM worden nagestreefd.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat Stichting ROEM op professionele wijze aan deze groei kan blijven werken, heeft VDH Bestuurszaken afgelopen december aangeboden om ROEM de aankomende tijd te ondersteunen tijdens dit proces. Het bestuur zorgt dat de missie en de visie van Stichting ROEM worden nagestreefd.
The ROEM Foundation has the ambition to continue to develop into a successful foundation for young makers in Leiden in the coming years. However, we noticed that, after becoming a foundation, this does not happen without a struggle.
To ensure that the ROEM Foundation can continue to work on this growth in a professional manner, VDH Bestuurszaken offered to support ROEM during this process in the coming period. The board will ensure that the ROEM Foundation's mission and vision are pursued.
